IT’S hugs all round at a Winchester college, as the Hug Bunny provides cuddles in return for donations to charity.
Part of the Love Week celebrations at Peter Symonds, the annual celebration of all things love-related raises money for Bliss, the premature baby charity.
The sale of Love Hearts, teddy bears and valentine’s cards sets the loving tone ahead of Valentine’s Day but there is a serious side to Love Week as well, with Chlamydia testing, Healthy Gay Hampshire, C cards and sessions to help students identify breast and testicular cancer.
Will Jackson, president of the students’ union which organises the event, said: “We want everyone to have some fun while raising money for a brilliant charity and it’s also a chance to learn some really useful health tips.”
