POLICE are appealing for witnesses after heartless burglars stole Christmas presents from a home in Durley.
The thieves struck between 11.15am and 3.45pm on December 15, using a garden fork to force open the door to a house in Durley Brook Road.
Among the items stolen were wrapped Christmas presents, a variety of electrical items, jewellery and cash. A holdall was also taken from the house to carry the items.
Pc Emma Purser, investigating, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in this area on December 15. I am also keen to hear from anyone who has noticed any unusual or suspicious callers in the area recently.”
