THE ‘mobile dinner party’ held earlier this month (October) in Hursley has raised more than £1,200.
The event saw villagers heading to several different households to enjoy starters, main courses and desserts.
After all the expenses were covered, the evening made a profit of £1,237.
Most will go to parish hall funds but 30 per cent will be donated to the NNRT charity which combats poverty in Romania.
