Safety boost for notorious junction
Safety improvements are set to be carried out at a notorious junction north of Winchester.
Work is expected to be undertaken at the junction of Andover Road, Harestock Road and Well House Lane before Christmas.
In correspondence seen by the Hampshire Chronicle transport officers at the county council outlined several enhancements. These include the installation of anti-skid surfacing, 'keep clear' and 'slow' markings and better signs on the approach to the junction.
