Celebration of field sports returns to Alresford this Sunday

Hampshire Country Sports Day, sponsored by the Countryside Alliance, has been held in the Alresford area for more than ten years and gives a chance for the public to see and take part in the action.

Among the attractions will be gundog demonstrations, a parade of hounds, an inter-hunt jumping competition, a terrier and lurcher show, a fun dog show, fishing, falconry, clay pigeon shooting and many trade stands.

It will be held at its regular venue, Tichborne Park, starting at 9.30am.

Tickets are £10 for adults and children under 14 free. Free entry to service personnel, ID required.
