in Silver Hill
By Warwick Payne
ONE of the firms hoping to deliver the £100m revamp of Winchester's Silver Hill district has enjoyed a treble awards success.
Architects, Allies and Morrison, have drawn up plans to redevelop the area after being chosen by developers, Thornfield Properties.
Allies and Morrison are now celebrating a hat trick at the Building Design Architect of the Year Awards.
The London-based firm was named as best master-planning architect and best public building architect.
Richard Feilden, from the company, also scooped the architect of the year honour.
Apart from Winchester, Allies and Morrison is also focusing on major projects in London and Oxford.
