THE PUBLIC have the chance to go back to see the future of the Silver Hill scheme in Winchester.

TH Real Estate, formerly known as Henderson, is showing off its 2009 scheme which is hopes to develop in Winchester city centre.

It had wanted to change the scheme to drop the bus station and affordable housing but that ran into legal difficulties.

Now the 2009 scheme, which has planning approval, will be on display in the Courtyard at the Guildhall in Winchester from Thursday June 18 until Thursday June 25.

The display will feature images and plans of the scheme, sample materials and a model.

The exhibition allows city councillors to remind themselves of the 2009 scheme before discussion and decisions at Council and Cabinet on June 25.

The display is for information only and it will be open from 9am-5pm. It will not be staffed other than on the morning of June 18.
