Winchester University fielding hundreds of calls from desperate students
Winchester University has taken more than 500 calls from A-level students desperate to get a place.
All of Winchester’s courses were full before the clearing process except for 50 additional places on a BA accounting and finance course.
Funding for the 50 places was recently secured from a central fund.
A university spokeswoman said many callers have expressed interest in the course. Potential students need to contact the university as soon as possible on 01962 827234.
