ONLY one student has been caught cheating at Winchester University in the past three years, according to new figures.

A single domestic undergraduate was disciplined for bringing information into an exam using a graphic calculator.

Their exam mark was set to zero and they were allowed to resit with a grade capped at a 40 per cent pass.

Across the UK 50,000 students have been caught since 2012, according to The Times, which supplied the figures using FoI.

The worst offender, Kent, punished 1,947 students in 2012-15.
