TRICKS, treats and lots of laughter - a Winchester school saw another year out in style as circus performers entertained hundreds.
The sold-out performance of Happy Circus, in a special big top on Kings Worthy Primary School's field, saw a 600-strong audience on Wednesday (July 22).
Children and teachers dressed in bright colours for the final day of term, with a family picnic before the evening show.
The event was organised by the Parent Teachers and Friends Association as a fundraiser.
Jo Griffiths, who recently stepped down as chairman, said it was bigger than the 2012 event, which she also organised.
"It's a great community event and more importantly it's good old fashioned fun, especially when you see the children looking at the clowns and laughing," she said.
"It's not 21st century entertainment. I think that's why we sell out every time because it appeals to toddlers and grandparents and everyone in between.
"It's nice that whole families can come and enjoy it."
