PILGRIMS’ Preparatory School pupils are to raise money during tomorrow’s Red Nose Day by busking at different locations around Winchester’s Inner and Outer Close.
Weather permitting, a grand piano will be wheeled to the cathedral’s west end in the afternoon, where performers will include soloists, an oboe trio, a violin trio, a woodwind quartet and a self-formed group called the Taraban Trio.
The busking session is set to take place between 3.30-4.40pm at 11 different locations around The Close.
The Pilgrims’ School, which is in the Inner Close, provides treble choirs for the cathedral and Winchester College Chapel.
