WINCHESTER University is hosting a series of talks by guest speakers from the world of publishing on Tuesday evenings until March 17.

Literary agents, novelists and scriptwriters will read from their work and answer questions on various aspects of the publishing world including blogging and self-publishing.

The novelists Marcus Sedgwick, Simon Nicholson, David Owen and Claire Fuller will attend together with literary agent Ella Diamond Kahn, the editorial board of AMBIT and a representative of the Alliance of Independent Authors.

Members of the public are also welcome to attend these sessions which will be held on the campus in St Alphege Building room 001.

There is no entry fee and the hour-long events start at 6pm. The first event with Ella Diamond Kahn is scheduled for January 20.

This is a rare opportunity for anyone interested in becoming a writer to hear and meet experts in this field.
