SCHOOLCHILDREN from a village near Winchester have been showing off their talents following a special competition.
Pupils from Twyford St Mary’s Primary School were invited to take part in a colouring competition after the fireworks event held in the village earlier this month (Nov 9).
The children’s artwork was then showcased to the public in the windows of the local post office, Twyford Stores.
Director for the fireworks sponsors Purdie and Swan, Lyndsey Swan, said: “Many fantastic entries were received and after a tough decision we managed to narrow it down to these three wonderful drawings.
“A total of £3,000 was raised for Twyford St Mary’s school from the fireworks event and a good time was had by all who attended.”
