A bat hunt along the River Itchen
RESIDENTS can hang out with the bats along a Hampshire river.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust has organised an Itchen Bat Walk on Wednesday September 7 from 7.15pm to 8.30pm with a chance to join Itchen Navigation Project Officer, Polly Whyte to find out about bats living along the river and learn how to use a bat detector. Those interested should bring a torch and meet at the White Swan Pub, on Mansbridge Road, West End.
