FILMS and live entertainment will share the bill at Botley Market Hall in the new programme, which has just been revealed.

It starts with the movie, Hanna, on Thursday, October 6, with tickets costing £5.50.

Entry will cost the same for Mao’s Last Dancer on Thursday, November 3, which tells the story of a child prodigy dancer who defects to America.

The next movie will be Water for Elephants on Thursday, December 1, which also costs £5.50.

Following that, two more films are planned for Thursday, January 5 and Thursday, February 2, but they are yet to be confirmed.

Live entertainment will include Instant Wit on Saturday, November 19 with an evening of quick-fire improvisation and humour.

Tickets will cost £14 and include fish and chips for supper and guests might want to bring a bottle of wine.

The next live show will be Opera Dudes on Saturday, February 11 with some sharp suits, quality singing and quick one-liners.

Ticket prices are yet to be confirmed, which is also the case with Oh La La on Saturday, March 17.

The show, presented by Botley Twinning Association and the Market Hall, will feature French food, music and wine.

The hall’s programme is being backed by Hampshire County Council’s Hog the Limelight scheme and the films are supported by Moviola.
