A 26 year-old man has been charged following a theft from L&J Smith Butchers on Riverside in Bishopstoke.
Hundreds of pounds in cash was stolen and a window smashed at the shop between 1.35am and 1.45am on Monday, June 15.
Police investigating the theft have now charged 26 year-old Carl Seymour of Upper Barn Copse in Fair Oak with one count of burglary.
He has been bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on August 4.
