A MAN has been taken to hospital following a late-night motorway crash.
It happened at around 11.30pm last night (SUN, FEB 15) between junctions 11 and 12 of the M3 southbound.
The car hit the central reservation and ended up ‘a couple of hundred metres down the road on the hard shoulder’, watchmanager Chris Roper, of Winchester Fire Station said.
He said three appliances attended and the driver was cut from the car.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.
No other vehicles were involved.
