A BALL to raise money for Hampshire Red Cross will soon be held in Eastleigh.
Last year’s event raised £18,000 for the charity, which helps people in emergencies.
Jan Treacher-Evans, of the ball committee, said: “It is a wonderful event and last year everyone had a fantastic time while making a difference to the lives of people experiencing a crisis.”
The committee recently raised a glass at the Red Cross depot in Boyatt Wood Industrial Estate, where two new ambulances have joined the fleet supporting the South Central Ambulance Service.
The ball will be held at The Concorde Club on November 15, and tickets include a welcome drink, raffle entry, three-course dinner, casino, disco, and photo booth.
There will also be Tom Jones and Neil Diamond tribute acts, and an auction including a signed Manchester United football.
