AN EASTLEIGH guitar teacher will swap the classroom for the stage when he brings his jazz quartet to Southampton.
Leo Appleyard, who teaches guitar at Toynbee School, Eastleigh and Mountbatten School in Romsey will play with his Quartet to promote his debut album Pembroke Road.
The London-based guitarist will play Southampton Modern Jazz Club on September 14 as part of a national tour.
“There is a great jazz scene in Southampton and I’m looking forward to playing here,” he said.
