TWO post offices in Chandler’s Ford will offer extended opening hours as branches across the country are refurbished.
Fryern Hill Post Office, currently in Fryern Hill, will open for 38 extra hours a week when it relocates to 6-7 Fryern Arcade on August 28. The new branch will open on August 29, from 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 4pm on Sundays.
Hiltingbury Post Office, in Ashdown Road, will close for refurbishment on 24 September at 5.30pm. The new branch will open on Friday 3 October at 1pm, opening for five extra hours on Saturday afternoons and offering four serving positions.
The same range of services will be available but disability access will be improved at both branches.
Hiltingbury customers are advised to visit branches in Fryern Hill or Main Road, Hursley, during the disruption.
