Coffee lovers in a Hampshire town have welcomed a new cafe.
Costa Coffee has set up shop in the centre of Chandler's Ford.
To celebrate the opening of their new home staff at Costa Coffee invited the Mayor of Eastleigh, Councillor Malcolm Cross for an official ribbon cutting ceremony and then treated customers to live music from a jazz band.
The cafe is in Fryern Arcade and offers residents free Wi-Fi, a large sofa area and outside seating.
Hampshire man Sebastian Szczypior will manage the cafe, which has created eight new jobs for residents.
Sebastian said: “The new Costa Coffee will become a focal point for people in Chandler's Ford to come and experience great coffee in a friendly and relaxed environment.
“The whole team is looking forward to welcoming the people of Chandler's Ford to our new Costa, which we hope will quickly become a key part of the community.”
The Mayor added: “I was delighted to open the new Costa coffee store in Chandler's Ford. The new Costa will not only create new jobs but also provide another great reason for local people to visit this popular shopping location.”
