CHANDLER'S Ford Library will undergo a revamp from Tuesday March 11, to install flexible shelving.
The shelving will be on wheels, which will enable staff to easily move them to free up space for events and activities programmes, part of the County Council’s policy to encourage more people to use libraries.
The library will close after business hours on Tuesday March 11 and work should be finished by Thursday March 27 at 9am.
Customers will still be able to access other local Hampshire libraries, while Chandler’s Ford is closed. At the nearby libraries at Eastleigh and Romsey customers will be able to borrow and return items and request books.
Library card holders can also reserve and borrow books online as well download e-books and use the online reference resources the library website at www.hants.gov.uk/library
