A WINCHESTER school recruited a Paralympian to help raise money for charity.
Goalball player Adam Knott visited All Saints Primary School in Highcliffe on Jeans for Genes Day earlier this month.
Peter Symonds student Adam, of Chandler’s Ford, gave a talk on his experiences at the London games and the two years of training he went through.
He then tested the skills of staff and pupils, leading them in a game of goalball.
The charity day on October 5, where children are allowed to wear jeans to school, raised £220 for children with genetic disorders.
