A HUNGRY trio mugged a pizza deliveryman near Winchester on Saturday (April 24) evening.
The 38-year-old victim was dropping off some food in Colden Common around 7.30pm when three men, all of who were drunk, attacked him. They pushed him to the floor and stole a bag containing two pizzas, potato wedges and four dips worth £23.
The suspects – all white, 5ft 9ins tall and around 20 years old – walked off along New Road.
DC Ian Budd, of Hampshire Police, appealing for witnesses, said: “It was still light outside and we believe the suspects had been drinking, so would have been quite noticeable.
“We would like to recover the heat bag that contained the pizzas, so if anyone found this, they should come forward.
“This kind of incident is very rare in Colden Common and we are very keen to trace those responsible.”
Anyone with information should contact Winchester police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
