A WINCHESTER man has again been convicted of misusing the phone network by repeatedly phoning 999.
Anthony James Walters, 53, admitted making 111 calls to police between June 8-9 when banned by a crime behaviour order, a court heard.
Walters, of Alison Way, Oram's Arbour, Winchester, also pleaded guilty to a breach of a conditional discharge imposed for the same offence on March 22 and similar offences on April 15 and April 17.
He was fined £300 with a £30 victim surcharge at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
Magistrates decided against imposing another CBO with the court record stating: "It would be unjust to make a full order, because it would be setting the defendant up to fail."
