IT was a very expensive swig of alcohol for John Tyler.
He had been asked to stop drinking in Jewry Street by a police officer, a court heard.
But Tyler, 42, of St Martins Close, Winnall, ignored the request.
The case against him at Basingstoke Magistrates Court was proved in his absence.
Tyler was fined £60 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs, a total of £175.
