THROWING a cup of hot chocolate has cost a Winchester man more than £200.
Daniel Kempster admitting chucking the cup in Basingstoke police station on March 1, the town magistrates court heard.
Kempster, 35, of Staple Gardens, was fined £100 and told to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Charges that he had assaulted PC Joy Lang and detention officer Jones on the same day at the station were withdrawn.
