PHILIP Elmes has been fined for sending offensive messages and assault.
Elmes, 40, of Rowlings Road, Weeke, Winchester, admitted the attack that happened on November 10 2015. The victim cannot be named for legal reasons.
He also pleaded guilty to sending an electronic communications of an offensive message.
Magistrates imposed a community order with an unpaid work requirement of 200 hours as well as a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
