WINCHESTER man Tomasz Rubinkiewicz has been banned for twice being caught drink driving.

Rubinkiewicz was stopped in an 02-reg Ford Fiesta in Limetree Walk, Winnall, on July 4, magistrates in Basingstoke heard.

His alcohol reading was 82 in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35.

He denied the allegation but was found guilty at a trial.

On October 27 he was again stopped whilst over the legal limit on Easton Lane, Winnall. His alcohol reading was 72, again nearly twice the legal limit.

Rubinkiewicz, 27, of Limetree Walk, Winnall, because of the two convictions in a short space of time was disqualified from driving for 40 months.

Magistrates fined him £240 with a £30 victim surcharge and £200 costs.
