Winchester Prison
POLICE have charged a Southampton man with allegedly smuggling contraband into Winchester Prison.
Wayne Parker, 38, of Oakridge Road, Redbridge, has been charged with two offences related to bringing contraband, including mobile phones, into the jail.
The charges come after an investigation by officers from Hampshire Constabulary's serious and organised crime unit.
Parker has been bailed to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 7.
