Man,50, arrested after allegedly threatening police officer with a knife in Winchester
A MAN was arrested after allegedly pulling knife on a police officer in Winchester.
Police say that the incident happened in Middlebrook Street yesterday at around 4.45pm.
A 50-year-old man from Winchester was arrested and remains in police custody, according to a spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary.
A tweet from Hampshire Response Cops, stated: "Male arrested #winchester after stop check, and male pulled a knife on the Officer and threatened him. No injuries and everyone safe 22740."
