POLICE say they are keen to track down thieves after vehicles and cars were targeted in Hampshire.

Police say that a bike was stolen from a garage in Broad Chalke Down on Badger Farm, Winchester, between October 21 at 8am and October 23 at 2.30am.

They say that another incident happened on Wordsworth Close where are a car was broken into and cash was stolen between October 25 at 5pm and October 26 at 10am.

A Hampshire alert on the issue stated: "This type of crime seems to be becoming an increasing tread and it is important to identify any suspect as soon as possible."

Police have issued advice to prevent crime which includes double locking a garage and using additional measures like light motion censors or CCTV.
