A MAN grabbed a young schoolgirl on a Winchester Street.
The 11-year-old victim was approached by the man near the junction of Wavell Way and Fox Lane on Monday evening.
The girl got away after the incident.
Police are currently appealing for witnesses and have issued a description of the man involved.
They say he is 5ft7 tall, wore light blue jeans and a grey or light blue hooded top. Police say his hood was up and he also has long facial hair on his chin.
The incident happened between 6pm and 6.10pm.
