JESSE Anthony Leonard has been given a last chance by magistrates after admitting attacking a woman for the second time this year.
Leonard admitted threatening behaviour on July 7 and two counts of assaulting Michelle Humble on August 18, in North Walls and at the Willow Tree pub on Durngate, Winchester.
Magistrates jailed him for three months but suspended the sentence for two years.
The bench also ordered that in the next 24 months Leonard takes part in 32-sessions of a Building Better Relationships programme and 26 sessions of the Resolve programme.
The sentence took into account the original offences for which a community order was imposed in February: an assault on Ms Humble on January 28 and on PC Warren Macklin on the same day and criminal damage at West View House on Hyde Street.
Leonard, of Stockbridge Road, Fulflood, admitted the offences which the court heard were domestic violence.
He was also ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.
