WINCHESTER police have today warned the public about a spate of crimes in the St Giles Hill area.
The problem has focused on the Northbrook Avenue area, said PCSO Laurence Day today.
Over the last two days he said there had been a number of incidents: * a vehicle was entered and items stolen from the glovebox; * a home has been entered from a back door and cash stolen; * windows at a home were damaged where forced entry was attempted and then a separate out-building was found to have a makeshift bed in it.
PCSO Day said residents should secure their homes homes and be alert to suspicious activity.
