TWO Winchester men have been convicted following the theft of a watch.
Joseph Jay Flowers, 37, admitted stealing a watch from a Winchester High Street shop.
Flowers, of Sarum Road, snatched the Fitbit Blaze watch, valued at £159.99, from O2 on May 12.
The watch was recovered, Basingstoke Magistrates Court heard.
The bench fined Flowers £20 with a £30 victim surcharge.
Ashley Raymond admitted handling the stolen watch at the CEX store further down the High Street on the same day.
Raymond, 34, of Firmstone Road, Winnall, was fined £80, told to pay £30 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £20 costs.
