THREE alleged robbers have been remanded into custody after an armed robbery at a Winchester jewellery store.
The trio were arrested following a raid at Justice Jewellers in Parchment Street last Friday morning.
They were charged with robbery and yesterday appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
All three were remanded in police custody and will appear at Winchester Crown Court on May 18.
Jewellery and watches worth a total of £200,000 were stolen and the shop's owner, Jon Quayle, had a gun held to his head.
Police have also charged the three men with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
They are David George, 21, of Central Avenue, Havering, Essex, Domingo Nsita, 28, of Windsor Crescent, Wembley, London, and Joshua Tiloye, 21, of Featherstone Close, Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
