POLICE are hunting thieves who broke into a pavilion at a Hampshire playing field.
Money was stolen from the pavilion at Lord Rank playing fields in Micheldever near Winchester. A small amount of change was stolen in the theft.
Police say it is likely the offenders knew where the money was kept as nothing else was in the pavilion was touched.
Anyone with information on the theft, which happened between 12noon on December 26 and 10pm on December 28, is urged to call police on 101 quoting crime reference number 44150458001.
