A WINCHESTER man was able to enjoy some festive partying after being hit by a curfew.
Carl Scott, 24, has been banned from going out after being convicted of possessing a knife in public.
Scott, of Thurmond Crescent, Stanmore, had a 7pm-7am curfew imposed that would have prevented him from leaving his home in the evenings over Christmas.
On December 23 he applied to magistrates for the condition to be eased. The court agreed and suspended the curfew for December 25 and Boxing Day.
Two days were added to the curfew period which will now finish on January 7.
