Pensioner stole walking stick from Winchester Cathedral shop
PENSIONER James Thomas stole a walking stick from the Winchester Cathedral shop, a court heard.
Thomas, 66, of James Street, St Mary's, Southampton, admitted stealing the stick, valued at £55, on October 25, Basingstoke Magistrates Court was told.
He was fined £40 with a £20 victim surcharge and told to pay the fine at £20 a month starting on January 26.
