A WINCHESTER Jail inmate who assaulted seven prison officers has been jailed.
Adam Baker, 26, admitted the attacks between October 20-27 on the officers.
Baker also pleaded guilty to making a threatening phone call and another count of threatening behaviour.
Magistrates in Basingstoke jailed him for 16 weeks, saying the offences were so serious including violent attacks on prison officers.
He was also ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge. There were no orders for compensation because of Baker's limited means.
