THOMAS Bapty has been fined for possession of cocaine in Winchester. Bapty, 29, of Parchment Street, Winchester, admitted possessing the class A drug at his home on November 17. Magistrates at Basingstoke fined him £200 with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge. An allegation that he assaulted Gemma Wilson on November 17 was discontinued. Bapty had denied the charge.
