WINCHESTER man Terence Miller has been jailed for attacking an elderly man in the street.
Miller, 33, of no fixed abode, admitted assaulting John McKenzie on July 25, Basingstoke Magistrates Court heard.
He was jailed for 14 weeks after magistrates heard of his "appalling record of offences."
Miller also admitted criminal damage to a bottle of whisky belonging to Mr McKenzie.
He was also told to pay an £80 victim surcharge and a £150 criminal courts charge.
