AN inquest has opened into the death of a Winchester woman due to be sentenced for two burglaries.
The hearing was adjourned after it heard that the cause of death of Louise Abigail Calland, 26, was as yet unascertained.
Ms Calland, of Pemerton Road, Weeke, had been due for sentencing at Winchester Crown Court yesterday, Friday October 16.
She had pleaded guilty to a burglary at a flat in Black Swan Buildings, Southgate Street, Winchester, on February 25 when she stole a mountain bike valued at £150.
Also at Basingstoke Magistrates Court, she had also admitted a burglary at Holywell Close, Farnborough, on July 16 2014, stealing an electrical adaptor and letting off a fire extinguisher.
The inquest was due to be resumed on January 6, 2016.
