A WINCHESTER drink-driver who flipped her car on a suburban road has been banned from having a driving licence for a year.

Tulasimaya Rai, 36, admitted driving with excess alcohol on Milverton Road, Fulflood, on June 7, a court heard.

Rai, of Highcroft Road, crashed a 15-reg Vauxhall Corsa when her alcohol level was 56 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Magistrates in Basingstoke fined her £140 and told her to pay a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £150 criminal courts charge.
