WINCHESTER man Sam Airey has been banned from the road after he was caught drink driving.
Airey, 22, of Mortimer Close, Kings Worthy, admitted the charge when he appeared at Aldershot Magistrates Court.
The court heard he had 75 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath when he was stopped whilst driving a Citroen AX in Liphook, east Hampshire, on April 4.
He was more than double the legal limit.
Magistrates disqualified him from driving for 18 months, fined him £110 and ordered he pay a £20 victim surcharge and £45 costs.
