THE family of a Winchester man murdered last year in India have launched a fund-raising appeal.

Allie Barker says she wants to raise money for a reward to kickstart the police search for the killers of Andrew Rodick, 39, formerly of Hyde Gate.

He was found wrapped in a carpet and dumped in the street in the capital, New Delhi last April.

And some of the proceeds would go to help three children now aged seven and twins aged ten.

Ms Barker, who now lives in west Wales, said the Indian police were revealing little about the investigation or the post-mortem examination.

She said: “We have just got the PM results. They are saying there was no assault. We haven’t got the toxicology results yet. They have been looking at poisons as well.”

At the time the probable cause of death was a drugs overdose.
