STOCKBRIDGE’S old police station is finally set to be sold after a two-year delay.
The former High Street base has not been used by police since officers relocated to Stockbridge Fire Station in 2012.
A planned sale was delayed by the introduction of legislation which forced the owner, Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), to invite bids from local groups for buildings listed as community assets.
Village groups have until midnight on January 22 to register an interest in bidding.
