POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Bishop’s Waltham after a tin of Celebrations was taken.

CCTV footage has been released of the theft at a Bishop’s Waltham supermarket after four people forced their entry and stole the confectionary.

The burglary took place on Tuesday, October 14, at around 12.55am at the Budgens store in Winchester Road.

Thieves tried to gain entry to the cigarette kiosk before trying the spirits cabinet.

They made off with a quantity of bottles as well as the chocolates.

PC Jonathan Earnshaw, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who has any information about this incident.

“If you know anything about this burglary, please get in touch and speak to us in confidence.”
