Climate change conference in Winchester
A FREE conference "Climate Change: Finding Solutions", takes place at Winchester University, on Tuesday, March 18.
It aims to address the issues surrounding climate change, and provide organisations with the information they need to help create a low carbon economy.
The conference is co-hosted by European Law Monitor - Europe Direct, the University of Winchester, and the European Commission Representation in London.
The conference is aimed at businesses that wish to develop low carbon products, or organisations that are looking to reduce their carbon footprint.
Participants will have the chance to explore what positive measures are being undertaken by the EU, by national government, and by business to help combat climate change.
Speakers include Dr Caroline Lucas MEP, Martin Nesbit, deputy director of Business and Transport at DEFRA, Elizabeth Holt, head of regional affairs and networks at the European Commission in London and representatives from the renewable energy sectors.
There will also be interactive sessions on how to take your climate change idea forward, raising finance from banks, grant funding, and working with Universities to access cutting edge R&D.
Stand space is available at the conference (see website for further details).
To book your free place at the conference, go to www.europeanlawmonitor.org/conferences.
